Every time I hear a story like this it shocks me, saddens me, bewilders me, as well as a number of other emotions. I will NEVER understand how someone can go into a school and start shooting innocent children. How can someone plan something like this at any time? What would make someone do it at this time of year? How soulless can someone be to plan to shoot children?
I’m watching the live news feed from NBCNews.com . As a parent I couldn’t imagine hearing this happening at my kids’ school. At a time when you’re kids are excited for the holidays, grateful it’s Friday (probably), thinking it’s any other day, maybe had plans for the weekend.
I can not imagine what these parents are going through. All I can say is that my heart goes out to these families and this community. All I can offer at this time is prayers and sympathy.
