Jumbies Review and Giveaway–CLOSED

For once, I found out about a new toy before my kids did. I heard about JUMBiES and thought they were very unique. What are JUMBiES? Well, they’re the newest collectable little stuffed animals.

This is how I surprised my kids with Jumbies. I received a letter with the story of Jumbieland and how Jumbies came to be. You can watch it for yourself here: http://jumbieland.com/. Then I asked my boys if they would like to adopt their own Jumbies. Of course they said “ya!” I had hid them around the living room and told them if they found one they would get to keep it.

My 6 yr old found “Blabbit” who is a jumble of a bluebird and a rabbit.

They thought they were really cool. The baby got the other one that was hiding which was “Mallit” a jumble of a mallard duck and a rabbit. My kids wanted to go online almost immediately to play the games and see what other JUMBiES were available.

There are more of these little guys. I think a great idea for these would be for Halloween. I try to get my kids a treat that is low cost and NOT sugar. These would be a great alternative. They would also make a unique stocking stuffer.

On the Jumbieland.com website there are activities for the kids too. There are games to play online and coloring pages to print.

Sutter Homes for Hope kit free for a good cause

On Sutter Homes facbook page. If you like their page and click on the Night of Hope tab you can request a free night of hope kit filled with cool freebies to have a night with your best girls for breast cancer awareness and to show your friends how much you care.

If you don’t already know, October is breast cancer awareness month. This would be a fun way to remind the women in our life to get checked.

We’re always on the look out for healthy snacks and drinks in this family . I’m trying to teach my kids good and bad choices when making snack and meal decisions. As a mom I sometimes pick my battles though. I try to make healthier choices too as an example and for my own well being.
