Tea’s Tea by ITO EN Green Tea Superfood with Giveaway

It’s the summer time, finally! The weather has been fairly nice here in Pennsylvania. I love the beautiful sunny warm weather. It definitely does something for my mood and motivation. Unfortunately I still don’t have much energy. I blame it on myself. I don’t get the amount of sleep I should, I don’t always eat the right things (though I am trying), I like soda and probably indulge in it too much, and I’m not as active as I used to be.

With the new found motivation and increased mood I decided I was going to work on some of these things for the summer. I told myself I’m going to take the kids and go outside with them for at least an hour a day. Set housework, blogging, and all that aside and just go. I’ve been doing pretty good too. I decided I’m going to indulge less in soda and “bad for you drink” and try to take in more hydrating and “good for you” drinks like Tea’s Tea by ITO EN. I crave something with flavor but want to eliminate the sugar and carbonation. Tea’s Tea is perfect for that.

My toddler really liked the lightly sweetened Magno Oolong Tea. We took it with us when we went to a local playground. We met my sister and her daughter for a playdate. We packed up a picnic lunch to take with us.

This day got us outside, active, and eating and drinking healthier. We had a lot of fun. It’s one of my favorite playgrounds to take my kids too. It’s shaded by big pine trees, it’s clean, and normally not too busy.

Shabby Apple Dress Review: The Red Queen

I absolutely love Dresses from Shabby Apple. They are so beautiful and feminine. Not to mention modest. Shabby Apples dresses are vintage inspired. Their dresses are appropriate to wear to church, events, a night on the town, or even every day if you like. Since I had received my first Shabby Apple dress I’ve fallen in love with the style and quality of the dresses. As a 30 something mom I want to look good but I don’t want to be too revealing. That’s just me.

My husband and I are invited to a July wedding. I turned to Shabby Apple to find a dress I’d be excited to wear to the event. It was such a hard choice but I ended up going with a dress from the Mad Hatter collection called “The Red Queen“.

Sportline Men’s Health Tricep Crunch review and giveaway

My hubby tries to lift at least once or twice a week. He has his own small weight pit in the basement. He likes it there because it’s cooler and he can turn up his music while he lifts. He’s been wanting some type of equipment to help him with his tricep exercises.

We had the opportunity to review the Men’s Health Tricep Crunch. This is an awesome piece of workout equipment, even if you don’t have much space in your home. The Men’s Health Tricep Crunch has 7 levels of resistance. You can easily adjust the resistance with metal clip bands. It is made of sturdy materials including a nylon anchor that makes it easy to adjust the height for you and high grade resistance bands. We have a steel door in the basement that my hubby will mostly be using this on but we tried it on several doors including the back door in our kitchen.

I tried it out myself. Of course I had to adjust the height and resistance for me but it worked quite well. This piece of equipment also comes with a complete exercise guide book and a free 1 year digital subscription to Men’s Heath. Another clever thing it came with, a door hanger that let’s people know that you’re working out on the other side of the closed door. I can see where this would definitely come in handy. At a cost of only $29.99 this tricep crunch is versatile and affordable.

Looks like a colorful assortment doesn’t it? One of the first things I want to talk about is the Ampad Project Planner. That’s the little pink wire bound planner in the picture. The planner measures 9 1/2″ by 7 1/4″. It includes 84 sheets of 20 lb paper. It numbered, ruled lines as well as a colum for project notes. There is a space for your date and who the project is prepared by as well. For me, I’m using this as a way to keep track of all things planned each day. From housework, to the boys’ games, to practices, to appointments. Another thing I like about this project planner, a portion of the profits from each one sold is donated to support breast cancer research and education! This is a cause that is near and dear to me so I appreciate that aspect of this planner.

The next item I want to tell you about is the Pendaflex Ready-Tab Lift Tab Reinforced Hanging folders. The rainbow colored folders on the left in the picture. I’ll be honest about this one. When I first looked over them I thought, “well I like the colors but what’s so special about hanging file folders?” Then I read the handy little info sheet they sent along to me. These might be the most ingenious hanging folders I’ve used. Other hanging folders come with paper tabs you need to insert where you want. Sometimes they fall out, sometimes they rip. These ones actually have built in pull out tabs. You pull out the tabs you want. The tabs are sturdy, made from what feels like a thin plastic. You can either use sticker labels to mark the tabs or write on them directly.

Then there is the Pendaflex Divide It Up File Folder. This folder could come in handy for a lot of things. Divide it up into months if you keep track of your house bills for 3 months at a time. If you have to do a presentation at work, You could put handouts in one pocket, sign in sheet, in another, and maybe your notes for yourself in another pocket. For couponers this could be a great way to divide up your coupons for a specific coupon trip.

Last but not least, I also received the Esselte Copy Safe File Jacket. That’s the clear and black item on top of the colored hanging file folders in the picture at the top. You simply slide a document into the jacket that is closed on 2 sides so your document doesn’t slide out easily. It keeps important documents private. Someone can’t read it over your shoulder at your desk or or on public transit. It also helps keep your document safe from wear and tear. File jackets are a good idea for any important or sensitive document.
