It’s no secret that I enjoy using Purex products and not just because I’m a Purex Insider. The main reason I signed up to become an insider is because I think Purex products work well without breaking the bank. I’m already a fan of the Purex Crystals fabric softener so I was excited to try their new and improved formula in the Purex Fabric Softener Sheets.
Purex Fabric Softener Sheets are available in mountain breeze scent and sweet lavender scent. Both of these sound wonderful to smell when pulling my clean clothes out of the dryer or pulling my sheets up at night when I climb in bed. The new and improved formula has 3x the fragrance. I could smell them before I even opened the box.
I’m a fan of scented products to begin with. When I threw my dryer sheet in with my clothes in the dryer the fresh mountain breeze scent lingered in the air for a minute.
I washed my bathroom rugs in there too. I thought it might be a nice way to get some fresh scent into the bathroom too.
Through the years of heard of some other clever uses for dryer sheets too. I’ve heard you can dust your furniture with dryer sheets, tuck some into your dresser drawers to use like a satchet. Even after they’ve been used in the dryer you can use them to wipe off your tv screen and use your used dryer sheets to clean your glasses.
That’s just a few ideas I’ve heard and a great way to resuse or maximize the use of this great product.
We use dryer sheets behind all the shutters, all the way around the house. It keeps bees from nesting behind them.
My mother uses already used dryer sheets to scrub pans
You can always put the sheets in your sock or underwear drawer to keep them fresh smelling.
You can roll up a dryer sheet in your toilet paper roll. Each time you spin, it releases a little freshness into your bathroom : )
great ideas everyone!
I put them in the bottom of my trash cans to keep them smelling fresh!
