Jem and the Holograms. I’m more than excited to hear they’re working on a live action Jem and the Holograms movie.  I had some of the dolls, I watched the cartoon show, I listened to the music.  Seeing how much these dolls are selling for now makes me wish I would have kept mine around.

Cabbage Patch Kids are still around and still mostly the same as they used to be.  The year my parents got me one was the year people went crazy over these things.  My parents were early shoppers like me for the holidays.They said they bought it in like September before the rush.

Kissing potion, the gloss with the little roller ball that came in flavors like strawberry, bubblegum, cola, etc.  The look of the bottle has changed a bit but the idea is still the same.

Jelly shoes, I used to love these as a kid.  You could get different colors, some with glitter in them.  They’re still available here and there today.  I actually saw some over the summer when I was looking for shoes for my daughter.

Ghostbusters.  I don’t know if they every really went away.  You can still find ghostbuster costumes, toys, and the movies are played on tv fairly frequently.  I keep hearing about a Ghostbusters III also, I hope the rumors are true!
