I have 3 kids and they have been really good at eating their fruits and vegetables. Sure they will ask for a sugary snack every once in a while but it makes me happy when they grab some mini peppers, bananas, or apples for a snack.

I think it really helped that they spent most of their lives living in Mexico. Fruits and vegetables are everywhere and they are very cheap to buy. It’s so much fun to go to the market and see the variety of fruits and vegetables that the vendors are selling.

We actually downloaded the HuePets app and had a little Huepets party here a few months ago. The kids loved it. I had a variety of fruits and vegetables in all the colors so they could try the app out to the full extent. They had so much fun.

As you walk from booth to booth, they are handing out delicious samples of mangoes and apples.

We would do this about once a week and stock up on everything we needed for the week. I would get home and wash everything and have it on the lower shelves of the fridge or on the counter so my kids could grab a healthy snack when they were hungry.

At a young age, they saw that eating fruits and vegetables was a fun experience and they tried so many different foods and realized how delicious everything tasted.

So how can you make fruits and vegetables fun and exciting to your kids so they will choose healthy snacks?

Huetrition has made a fun FREE app and an adorable HuePet Plushie that will be your child’s companion to encourage them to make healthy choices!

HueTrition App:

HuePets™ makes it fun for kids to eat healthy and try new foods! Scan real-life meals to feed your HuePet™, unlocking prizes and raising your pet from a little egg to a HueMaster! Check out a full demo of the app.

You can download it on the App Store or Google Play! Or visit www.HuePets.com

You can track your children’s progress and see how they’re eating from day to day and even watch their overall totals. You may notice that your kids are eating too many red fruits and veggies and not enough green veggies – so this will help you suggest other foods for them to eat.

Take your kids with you to the grocery store and they can choose colors. And when you get home they can help you with the cooking and meal prepping.

It’s important to bring your kids into the kitchen. It will get them excited to help you and they may try different foods because they helped cook them.

The HuePets Plushie is also lots of fun for your kids. The Huey Plushie is a mini companion of healthy choices that shows kids how to have FUN while eating colorful veggies and fruits.

This Limited Edition HuePets Bundle includes the main HuePet, Huey Plushie, Lunch Bag/Travel Bag, and HuePets educational coloring book teaching kids how to eat colorful fruits and veggies mobile app that turns daily healthy eating into a game- new characters!

  1. Thankfully, my granddaughters have always eaten very well. Their Mommy (my daughter) has always made it so they thought fruit was a treat! This way they don’t ask for candy very often and don’t even like sweets, really. My tip? Start early!

  2. I make them at least try everything and tell them they can eat what they like and don’t have to eat what they don’t like but they do have to try it.

  3. I try to incorporate new healthy foods with things she already likes. My daughter has to try everything at least once.

  4. I keep having them try it and also try to incorporate them in dishes they already like.
