This information is brought to you by HuePets. All opinions are my own,

With HuePets you can help encourage kids to eat more fruits and vegetables!

At HuePets, their philosophy is simple: Food as Fuel to Color Your World. That is why they have created an app to teach your kids that eating your fruits and vegetables is fun! They make it easy to serve your kids healthy foods with HueApproved products, brands, restaurant dishes.  Anything to help my kids eat better is ok with me!

Parents can check out their series of HueApproved products. In the future, you may even be able to ask a nutritionist a question!

Criteria for HueApproved Foods:

  • Real food
  • As wholesome as possible
  • Pronounceable ingredients, fewer the better
  • Color-packed fuel to color your world

At HueTrition, they divide foods into five categories, grouped by color: blue/purple, red, green, yellow/orange, and white. Dividing fruits and vegetables by color provides an easy way to incorporate nutrient needs and health benefits into our diet. You should aim to consume one of each of the 5 colors every day.

Sign up for their Hue-Newsletter (look for the pop-up box for some fun freebies too) and check out their HueTube – YouTube channel that will be loaded with healthy tips! Make sure you check out all the cute HueGear!

Natural, colorful, filling half of your plate with fruits and vegetables solves a lot of problems! No need to sweat it! Think of your plate as a colorful canvas.

Another Great Resource For Parents…

Huetrition has just released a new book on Amazon that will help make eating fun! Get this eBook from Amazon: Huetrition: Healthy & Colorful Eating Made Fun Kindle Edition.

Did you know the color of fruits or vegetables can tell you the vitamins and nutrients they have? HueTrition creates a healthy lifestyle change that lasts. It is NOT a diet, but if you or your family have been struggling to eat enough fruits and vegetables, or if you are wondering how to shift to a more plant-based way of eating, or if you just want some new ideas to incorporate nutritious color into you lifestyle, this is a great book for you! You’ll learn how to substitute your snacks and side dishes with colorful vegetables. The more you do this, the more you’ll notice improvements in your energy levels and weight—but more importantly, you’ll be on your way to fool-proofing yourself against chronic disease (coupled with regular physical activity, of course)!

This book also serves as a guide to children. Within the second half of the book, you’ll find a story you can read to your children: one that invites them into the world of choosing food through color. It also encourages you to check out HuePets, a fun way to encourage kids to eat fruits and vegetables by turning healthy eating into a game. It is important to get kids excited about eating fruits and vegetables because the choices they make at a young age can shape choices for the rest of a child’s life.
