We’ve already booked some fun things to do and I’m starting to get an idea of what to pack. I’m gonna need a good beach read I think.  So because I’m going to be crazy busy this month I’m gonna keep this giveaway simple and offer up a prize I will be able to send from wherever I’m at.  An Amazon gift card.  Who couldn’t use that right?

  1. i am not going on vacation, need money for some other things this year.

  2. I finished “An Eye for an Eye” by Caroline Fardig a few weeks ago. It’s a great thriller that kept me on my toes and intrigued to the very end!

  3. We’re going to Destin, FL in a month. Can’t wait to be on the beach again!

  4. I’m kinda going on vacation. We are moving my daughter into her college this summer. So road trip to Florida is as close as to vacation I’m going to get.

  5. I am not going on vacation, but my parents are still in hawaii for theirs.
I think a good read at the beach would be the hobbit.

  6. I’m looking forward to a trip to Santa Fe for the opera in July.
    Thanks for the contest.

  7. Well… I keep listening to the same books that I love during work, while trying to get new to me if not new Star Wars ones in as well… but hey, a non SW book I can put is Ready Player One. Love it! 🙂

  8. “Can you recommend a good beach read for me?” I recently enjoyed “The Lady Travelers Guide To Larceny With a Dashing Stranger” by Victoria Alexander–but I could have done without the “naughty scene” in the middle!

  9. I wish I could go on vacation, but I’m a little too pregnant for that. I need to be near my hospital of choice in case there’s a problem or I go into labor.

  10. I would recommend any David Baldacci books for a great suspenseful read.

  11. I am going to Deep creek lake in Maryland this fall. I just got done reading ‘A Higher Loyalty’ by James Comey and it is a very inspirational book about leadership. I am also reading Today will be Different by Maria Semple!

  12. If I could go anywhere for a vacation I would go to Honduras. I have family there Id love to see!

  13. We are hoping to go to Tampa this year to enjoy the beach and visit my Aunt.

  14. I’m going to Boston in June and in September. I went a year ago and took a Duck Tour which showed highlights of the town, then went in the water. My 5 year old grandson loved “piloting” the boat when the captain/tour guide had kids of all ages take the wheel.

  15. I would say any book by Susan Elizabeth Phillips would be a good beach read.

  16. I don’t know what a “beach read” means. I don’t go on vacations as I don’t have the money.

  17. I am planning to visit my daughter in Seattle, where she moved after years in southern California.

  18. If you like historical fiction, I’d recommend the Steadfast Love series by Rachelle Rea for a summer read. 🙂 I was hooked!

  19. My favorite book of all time is Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins (I read it on a trip to Ireland).

  20. I would love to go to California this summer, but my hip says no. We will see how I feel.

  21. I think Breathing Lessons by Ann Tyler would make for a good beach read. Or anything by Sophie Kinsella.

  22. No vacation for us this summer. I’m currently reading Now that we’re adults and it’s pretty good!
