It’s Halloween Giveaway Event
Every years my kids tend to pick the same costumes. I allow them to pick their costumes because I had idea of what I wanted to be as a kid too. I try to encourage their imagination and pretend play. The only problem was that my boys would always pick the same things pretty much star wars or ninjas for my middle son and star wars or military for my oldest son. I was so excited when my middle son picked this costume:
I think he looks super cute! I’m sure everyone’s kids will look cute, or cool, or pretty. or whatever. Let’s keep out little ones safe though. Remember Halloween Safety tips:
–wear light clothing, reflective tape, clip on reflectors, or carry a flash light to make sure cars can see you
–Parents or another responsible adult should be with young children and ensure they do wander to far off and only go to familiar houses.
–Only go to well lit houses and houses that are familiar to you
–Make sure to check your candy. Open pieces or pieces that look like they’ve been tampered with in any way should be thrown out. I know in our area, there are several medical offices and chiropractic offices that will x-ray halloween candy for free which I think is pretty cool of them.
–Older children (tween and teens) should stay in groups if not with a parent and talk to parents about where they plan on going and what times to expect them home.
–Stick to well lit streets
