Hanes has a comfort sharing facebook app for Breast Cancer Awareness month. This app allows you to share a virtual comfort package with your facebook friends. For each package sent, Hanes will donate $1 (up to $25,000) to the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc to promote early breast cancer detection and help fund mammograms for those who can’t afford them.
The comfort pacakges are customizable with things like pictures, videos, recipes, music, and more. Also on Hanes facebook page is “The Pink Tab“. It includes video interviews of Hanes employees who have been affected by breast cancer. There is also a Words of Comfort Wall where you can leave words of encouragment and hope for those battling the disease.
