In November, I told you I used Geek Squad Tech Support Service from Best Buy.   to fix some issues I was having with my computer.  You can read that whole post here: http://angiewith2.blogspot.com/2012/11/geek-squad-tech-support-service-from.html

In short my computer would seem to randomly blue screen and shut off.  It seemed to happen more when I was using several media like spotify and having a couple windows open.  Or playing a game and tying to listen to music.

I’m happy to say, two months later, my computer is still working great.  I had chose to do the online chat and let them take over my computer remotely.  I hated the thought of possibly having to give up my computer.  They were able to fix it and I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve been talking to my husband about the service and he wants me to utilize the option for them to come to the house to help him set up the internet in the basement.  See hubby is a gamer.  He got himself a flat screen, Xbox 360, and Xbox Live but he wants to run a line to the basement for the TV.  So that will be the next project with Geek Squad.

What I love about having the 1 year Geek Squad service plan is that I can utilize the service either online, in store, or have them come to my home.  Geek Squad service covers up to 3 computing devices, even if you didn’t buy them at Best Buy.  The service also includes internet security software, computer tune ups, software, hardware, and operating systems installation, as well as trouble shooting.  You can also access their expansive how-to library to get the most out of your computing devices.  You get all this for only $199.99 a year!
