Research Before Buying Breast Cancer Support Products

Collage_qfm0inov1x2medxhxxzxww20140901-2-m173v9jpg?1409590961

Next month it will be pink everywhere and for a good cause, breast cancer awareness.  This is a cause that hits very close to home as my maternal grandmother and my mother both had breast cancer.  My grandmother fought and won. My mom fought hard but in the end she lost her battle.

I love seeing companies putting out pink products and donating a portion (or all) of the proceeds to breast cancer charities.  BEWARE though, there are companies out there that just jump on the pink band wagon because they know it sells but don’t do anything to support breast cancer charities of any kinds.  Here is a list of products I found that specifically state that they donate to breast cancer charities with purchase.  When shopping for your pink products this year, read the labels and info.  Make sure your purchase is actually going to help support breast cancer related charities!

Cracking Open the Door of My Etsy Shop for a Limited Time

How many readers have been here for at least 5 years?  For those of you that haven’t been, I used to make candles.  I had an etsy shop and even did a few craft shows.  I had been itching to have a candle making session for a while.  I had a request from a customer for more of my candles.  So I decided to crack the door of my Etsy shop for a short time and make it available again to place order.  I’m only doing 8 oz soy jar candles though as I’ve not find a good way to ship my wax tarts without paying and arm and a leg for packaging and driving up the cost.

I have a family member that every time she comes to town buy 5-6 off of me at a time.  She says “They smell so good, I’ve used all the ones I bought last time!” and my best customer from etsy says they are “the best of the best” and “even better than Yankee Candle Co.”  I don’t know about all that but I know my husband has been wondering when I’m going to make more because we’ve about used all of ours.

Anywho, if you’re interested in placing an order during my temporary “open for business” time, you can place your order here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/angiewith2

I also have a special buy 3 get 1 free listing in my shop.
