DreamWorks Pictures “REAL STEEL” will be in theatres October 7, 2011. My boys and I want to see this movie so bad. I think it looks like a great story line. The robots look really cool too.

This is a movie I think the kids are gonna love.  And ladies…Hugh Jackman is in it, ok? The story line is pretty interesting.  A “down on his luck” boxer, Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman) lost his chance at a title when robots started taking over the ring.  Charlie tries to make ends meet by piecing together robots from scrap metal to get into underground boxing venues.  He hits rock bottom.  Then he ends up teaming up with his estranged son Max (played by Dakota Goyo).   Together they build and train a championship contender robot.

This movie is categorized as an Action Drama and is directed by Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum and Date Night director). Rated PG-13.

I’m always getting sore muscles.  I work in a local hospital as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L for short).  My job is very physical from lifting patients, to moving around equipment, and crouching on the floor at times.  Then coming home and keeping up with  (err trying to keep up with) my three boys.  And sometimes I even get a little sore in the neck area if I’ve been hitting the blog hard like today.  To add on, I carry any stress and tension I may have in my shoulder and neck area (I have no idea where the stress would come from).

I received the Tiger Balm Neck and Shoulder Rub as it were, to review.  It comes in a slender tube that’s easy to squeeze out the amount you need to apply.  The first time I tried it, my lower back was hurting.  I decided I’d go ahead and give it a try for this.  I had my husband apply it to my lower back.  You could smell it immediately.  It has a sort of mentholish smell.  It’s a white cream that reminded me of lotion.  My husband put a very liberal amount on my back.  I think it was way too much.  I felt it immediately. It cooled and tingled.  But it was way too much that time and I had to try to wash it off.

The next time I tried it I used a very small amount on my neck.  Much better result.  I could still feel it cooling and tingling but not so intense I couldn’t handle it like the first time.  So..my advice is, put just a little on until you know if it’s enough.  You can always add more if you need to.  A little goes a long way with this product.

The relief lasted for a long time.  Much longer than other topical pain relief rubs I have tried in the past.  It didn’t feel greasy or waxy at all like some other ones do.  It absorbed into the skin pretty quickly. I could feel it working for several hours after I put it on.

I mentioned before that I was having my blog redesigned. I’ve been working with Jenn from The Blog Cafe. I’ve seen some 1st drafts of different things and I’m really liking where it’s going. She’s hoping to have my design done by Tuesday.

Also, I have a custom URL for Free Stuff, Fun Sites, Contests, and More. My custom URL has been: http://www.luvsavingmoney.info. I chose it because putting my old name into a URL just wasn’t practical and ffcm.com and other domains were already in use. I figured Luv Saving Money about summed it up. Well, I’ve been thinking about changing the name of my blog to: Luv Saving Money for a while. When everything started happening with the new blog design, I decided to go ahead and make it a clean sweep. It will still be the same blog with the same idea just a a spiffier look and shorter name.

Unfortunately I looked into changing my Facebook fan page name and I’m not able to do it unless I had under 100 fans, which I don’t, thankfully.  So not sure how I’m gonna handle that yet.  I hate to start from scratch with a new fan page.  I’m gonna have to sit on that one for bit to make the right decision.

Anywho, just wanted to let you know about the changes so you weren’t surprised when you showed up here and it didn’t have the appearance of the same blog.

Any advice on how to handle the facebook fan page?

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  FRESCHETTA is proud to do their part in supporting breast cancer research with the “FRESCHETTA Proud to Support Pink program”.

The site also has a place for for people to share their breast cancer journey or those of a friend. They will be displayed on the www.ProudToSupportPink.com site and on FRESCHETTA’s facebook page.  They will also be giving away 50 pink iPod shuffles a week in October.  They will also be donationg 50 pink iPod Shuffles each week in October to four cancer centers around America to be enjoyed by breast cancer patients during treatment.

I think FRESCHETTA has a great program going here.  I’m a fan of FRESCHETTA pizza anyway but I will certainly look for the special boxes in store to help support this effort.  Breast Cancer Awareness is a cause that very close to me.  My mother and grandmother were both effected by breast cancer. Between seeing my family members go through it and working in a hospital I can’t stress enough to you how important it is to get your mammograms when you’re supposed to.  Do the self checks.  If you’re not sure the right way to do them there are lost of resources.  From your gynecologists office, to breast cancer events, and online resources.  In fact FRESCHETTA has a section on their www.ProudToSupportPink.com site with several good resources.

In the spring, I didn’t participate in the Social Picnic as a blogger but I did enter the giveaway. I ended up winning! When the next sign ups came open, I decided to participate as a blogger and enter (yes you can certainly do that).

I did win the prize BUT I gained a lot of traffic to my blog as well as increased my numbers.  I went from having nearly 900 facebook fans to having over 1300 by the time it was done.  I also had noticable increases in GFC followers and twitter as well.
