SweetPea Toys offers a child friendly MP3 that’s perfect for little ones.  It holds 32 hours of music and is built to withstand young childrens activities.  They come pre-loaded with songs by Susie Tallman and Jim Weiss.  Music can be uploaded onto the SweetPea MP3 player from cd’s, music stored on your computer, or from sites like iTunes or Amazon.  It plays all popular music and book formats.

I have a chance to be able to give one of these cool MP3 players away but I need your help.  Go through my link: http://www.sweetpeatoyco.com/?mb=1&mbn=20384 and like Sweet Pea Toys facebook page.  If I’m one of 10 bloggers who collect the most likes for SweetPea Toys I’ll be giving one away to one of you.  This would make a really neat and different Christmas present for the little one(s) in your life.

Hautelook has Crown Brush make up brushes offered today at really affordable prices.  They also have some amazing make up palettes offered at a fraction of their original price like the 78 color eye shadow and blush palette for only $16.00.  Or the 5 piece Luna eye brush set for only $8 (I’m eyeing this one up).  You could get the palette and the brush set and have a super nice gift for the make up junkie in your life for only $24 (plus shipping) and if you have any Hautelook credits it would be even cheaper!

The deals don’t last long on Hautelook, so you might want to jump on this if you’re thinking about it.

As a member of BzzAgent.com I had the opportunity to try the new Tonka XT Ricochet Trickster.  When I say, I try, I really mean my boys tried it.  I had it setting on my butcher block table the day it arrived.  As soon as the kids got home from school they grabbed it up and said “Mom what’s this!”  They couldn’t get the box open fast enough.

The Tonka XT Ricochet Trickster is a two sided remote control car.  It flips over and just keeps going.  It’s a tough remote conrtrol car which is great for my family of all boys (except me of course).  Only the remote control itself required replaceable batteries.  The car plugs into the remote control to charge.  I like that I don’t have to have batteries for both the care and remote.

Both my 7 and 9 year old had a good time playing with it.  My toddler tried but the switches on the remote are very tiny.  .You need to be able to pinch them between your thumb and forefinger to use and be able to maneuver with your thumbs.  My toddler just didn’t have all the Fine Motor skills to operate the small switches yet

This is a tough little car.  It’s ok for them to jump it off the steps (if you say it’s ok), run it off ramps, run it into walls, etc.  It can take a beating.  It’s not a big remote control car either so you don’t need a huge amount of space to be able to enjoy it.  It can go forward, backward, spin circles, and flip.

The cost on Tonka’s website is $24.99.  Not too bad for a remote control car that’s made well.

I use shutterfly for my digital prints anyone.  Last year I tried out their Christmas Photo Cards and I absolutely loved the way they turned out. Here’s a pick of my Christmas Cards from last year:

I received a lot of compliments on my cards last year. They’re really very reasonable to.  Lots of designs and phrases to choose from.  They have single picture and multi-picture cards.  Add your own message to the cards.  Choose from folded cards like I got or the flat greeting cards.

Shutterfly also has calendars which would make a great gift for someone.  Think about creating a personal calendar with pictures of the grandkids for a grandparent or great grandparent.  They also offer lots of other personalized gifts like mugs, shirts, totes, jewelry, and other photo gifts.

There’s another great reason to use shutterfly though.  Not only can you order quality prints whenever you want but, you’re precious photos and memories are saved on the site.  I read a testimonial one time and the person said they had had a house fire and lost all the picture in their house but because they had them saved on shutterfly they still had those pictures and could easily be reordered.  That really hit home to me.  I would be devastated if I ever lost my boys’ baby pictures and our wedding pictures.

I’ve been using shutterfly for years.  So when they approached me about posting about their photo greeting cards I didn’t hesitate.  Shutterfly really does a good job.

You could choose a classy design like this:

Or maybe a fun flat stationary card like this:

or how about a flat photo card that would easily fit into a scrap book:

Whatever you choose, I’m sure you and you’re recipients will love it.
