It seems that if you want something you’re sure to find it. If you want something specific, well there’s a store for that too. I was contacted by Haircoverings.com about their website. My first thought was, “What can I expect to find on haircoverings.com?”

True to the sites name, you’ll find all types of hair coverings and hair accessories.  Whether you need pony tail elastics, Headbands, hats, durags, sleeping caps…well…it would probably just be easier for you to go ahead and check out the site for yourself.  There are lots of items for your hair. 

There are several aspects of the site that I like.  While browsing I noticed how reasonable their prices were for many of their items.  They even have several budget features like the “Under $5 bin” which is easy to find with the banner on Haircoverings.com’s home page.    They also advertise their “Steal of the Week” on their homepage.  Also, did you notice the banner at the top that advertises free shipping in the US? 

I received two fabric head bands as review samples from Haircoverings.com.  The shipping from the site was super quick.  The quality of the headbands I received was as good as I had hoped it would be.

I was sent a tube of the Monave sheer lip glaze in the color Honey Glaze.

The Monave lip glaze had a nice sheer tint.  It gave my lips a beautiful shine.  I didn’t notice the fruit flavor that’s referred to in the benefits.  It really didn’t have any flavor at all in my opinion.   The container itself is a slip tube with a twist off cap.  The applicator sponge made applying the glaze easy.

If I had any complaints it would be that the lip glaze is a bit expensive for my taste.  $13 a tube.  The ethics of the company as well as the quality of the glaze and vegan and gluten free benefits may be a good motivator to plunk down the $13 though for some.

After spending much time trying to decide which one to get my youngest son, I finally decided on the football sports theme:

I tried desperately to get my little one into the pic with it but he’s been cranky with a virus the last few days. He just wasn’t having it.

The quality of these growth charts is amazing.  The vinyl is a thicker vinyl.  The wooden dowel on the bottom really helps to ensure the growth chart sits flat up against the wall.  I used the Command plastic hooks to hang my son’s growth chart in his room.  Simple, just measure 2 ft from the floor and hang.

It’s funny how things work sometimes. You start thinking about something or start doing something and the right tool just happens to show itself to you.

Hubby and I are planning our first ever real family vacation. We’re planning on going to the beach. I had the opportunity to review Sand Gone.

Sand Gone is a must for beachgoers. It’s a dry powder sand remover that when applied to sandy parts of your body, removes sand and leaves your skin feeling soft.

It has a light coconut scents. Sand Gone is an all natural, non-talc powder. My boys have a sand pit to play in in the back yard. IT was actually an area that was leveled out when we had the pool but we keep the sand in it now for the boys to play in. While the boys were out slopping in the sand I decided it would be the perfect opportunity to give Sand Gone a try.

I they had a toy spider that they built a sand fort for, ( I don’t know why) and then needed a moat for the spider’s castle.  Well of course the spider needs a moat, why not?  Anyway, they had sand sticking to their hands like crazy.

I sprinkled the Sand Gone on lightly at first.  It wasn’t enough.  I had to use a little more generous dusting.

 My oldest son’s hands seemed to be too mucky for the Sand Gone.  My 7 yr olds however it seemed to get almost all the sand off without water.  (Don’t worry, I did still have them wash their hands for hygiene purposes after the test).

Sand Gone comes with a large body powder puff that fits in the jar.  The powder puff is the perfects size for dusting on larger body parts such as legs, arms, or your belly for instance.

The Sand Gone powder is a light powder that feels silky on the skin.  Kind of reminds me of baby powder.  The powder goes on translucent.  The light coconut smell is pleasing.

This will definitely be going with us on our beach trip this summer.
