Fuller Brush Co. Original Premium Floor Care review and giveaway

The Fuller Brush Company has been around over a century. Since 1906 to be exact. Fuller Brush Co. offers a wide range of household and beauty needs for everyone. From hair brushes to anti-bacterial soap, from barbecue grill cleaner to indoor/outdoor brooms, you’re sure to find something helpful for you household.

As I’ve mentioned in previous Fuller Brush Co. posts, I have good memories of the Fuller Brush man coming around and stopping in to sell stuff to my mom. I remember my mom buying things like stain stick and degreasers and things like that. It’s really amazing the wide range of products that Fuller Brush has to offer.

This time I had the opportunity to review the Original Premium Floor Care. This product is safe to use on no-wax vinyl, laminate, linoleum, tile, marble, slate, and sealed wood.

This is a 20 fl oz bottle. It comes in a plastic, flip top, squeeze bottle. Simply squeeze a little on the floor and use a damp mop to clean your floors. It had a great clean scent. It was easy to squeeze out of the bottle. It did a great job cleaning my floors. It’s not supposed to leave any residue either. After it dried I felt the floor with my hands. All I could feel was my clean floor. No layer soap or anything like that. I tried it on both my hard wood floors and my vinyl floors. It worked great for both. When I first agreed to complete a review of QwikShower Big Wet Wipes I thought, “These would be useful for wiping the baby down after an ice cream treat in the car or for someone to take to the gym with them if they’re in a hurry to get out.” What I didn’t realize is how many more situations the QuikShower Big Wet Wipes would come in handy for.

QwikShower Big Wet Wipes come in a resealable pouch of 6, 12, 24, 40, and even larger bulk packs. Each Big Wet Wipe is individually packaged. Put one or two packet in your purse, back pack, gym back, or even if your pocket if you like.

I first used them on myself for a quick wipe down just to see how they worked. These wipes are larger, about the size of a big wash clothe. They have a fresh scent similar to that of a the little wipe packets you get at a restaurant. Each wipe contains aloe vera to help protect your skin.

I then tried them on my toddler. It seems several times a day he’s in need of a good wipe down. They worked fine on him and didn’t seem to bother his skin at all.

QwikShower Big Wet Wipes are great for a weekend of roughing it on a camping trip, to take to the gym, put a few packet in your teen’s back pack for them to use after gym class or practice, Take a few with your on a hot day outside to keep yourself feeling fresh, and so many more ideas.

I could personally see myself keeping these in the car for soccer season. My boys sweat like I don’t know what and some time the car ride home has a strong essence of sweat.

In my opinion a shower is always the best thing but when you can’t shower, I think QwikShower Big Wet Wipe are a good alternative.

Purex UltraPacks liquid laundry detergent review and giveaway

I’m a Purex Insider. I had the opportunity to try the new Triple Action Purex Ultra packs liquid laundry detergent. The Purex UltraPacks have the same cleaning power as traditional liquid detergent. The difference is that they come in pre-measured “Ultra Packs”. No measuring, no pouring and spilling, just throw one Ultrapack into your wash and add your clothes, that’s it.

Purex Ultra packs work in all machines including HE washers. It comes in Mountain Breeze scent or Free & Clear for those that don’t want or can’t use fragrance or colors. You only need one Ultra pack to do a whole load of laundry. If you have heavily soiled clothes though, you can use two. Each Ultra pack is 2 X concentrated, meaning each pack has double the cleaning power of other liquid laundry detergents.

Purex Ultra Packs come in a resealable bag. In the bag I received here was enough for 18 washes. I loved the convenience of these little packs. I used the Mountain Breeze scent. I loved that it still had the same great scent as the Purex liquid detergents.

Spongeable Pedi-Scrubber review and giveaway

I had the pleasure doing a review of the Spongeables Body Wash in a sponge this past spring. I enjoyed using the product and even took the travel size one on vacation with me over the summer. When they were looking for someone to review the Spongeables Pedi-Scrubber, I was happy to give it a try.

The Spongeables Pedi-Scrubbers are similar to the body sponge in that it’s two sided. One side is a sponges that contains the soap and botanicals that clean your feet. The other side is a buffer to scrub away those rough patches on the heels, or anywhere else on your feet that may need sloughed. The buffer side also can be used to shine your toenails.

This Spongeables product is a smaller version. It’s about the size of my palm and shaped in a cute, flower like shape. The Pedi-scrubber comes in two scents: Lavender & Tea Tree Oil or Citron-Eucalyptus. I chose the Citron-Eucalyptus since I had tried the lavender scent in the body sponge before.

The Pedi-Scrubber is good for at least 20 washes.

When I first opened the package the Eucalyptus scent was apparent right away. It was a pleasant scent. On the first use the sponge feels a little bit hard until you start using it a little bit. In the shower the Citron-Eucalyptus scent didn’t seem as strong as it had straight out of the package. The soap in the sponge seemed to soften my feet. The buffer side worked well of my dry heels. I love the small shape. Another positive is that I could stand the sponge up on it’s “petals” to allow air to get to it after the shower so it didn’t stay damp like some sponges.

Just glancing at the store, I wish I would have realized they had cute Christmas shapes available. That would have made an really cute stocking stuffer. Oh well, Easter will be here before we know it to put in their baskets. They also have nice gift baskets for Valentine’s day or perhaps a birthday. Aerobie Megatop toy Review and Giveaway

I love working with Aerobie. In the past I have done reviews for the Aerobie Sprint flying ring and the Aerobie Skylighter disc. Aerobie toys are durable, high quality toys that keep kids (and adults) active. Aerobie products can be found at many sporting goods stores.

Aerobie’s newest product is the Aerobie Megatop. It’s a big chunky top but with a twist. It’s not your average top. It comes with a string that you use to get the top spinning, a catch plate and a spin booster. The quick launch enables the person using the top to reach RPMs of 3000+. The spin booster allows the user to keep the top going even longer. The catch plate lets you perform fun tricks and balancing acts once you get the hang of it.

The top is made of a very thick and durable plastic. There’s a rim around it where the string goes that reminds you something of a yo yo except for the fact the string is not attached to the top. There is a notch on the top that holds the string in place until you launch it.

My husband and I both tried it first. We tried to set it down and pull the string quickly. It worked but the spin wasn’t the greatest. Then my oldest son tried it. Of course the kids figures it out. He holds it in his hand and throws it. That darn top spun so fast and I’d bet it spun on the kitchen floor for at least a minute if not more. His first try. He did better than my husband and I. So I had him show me how he did it. I tried it and got it spinning using my son’s technique. Then my son tried out the spin booster to see how long he could keep the top going.

We’re still trying to master the catch plate. We haven’t quite got it down but it’s been fun trying. I think anyone who’s good with a Yo Yo would have probably got the catch plate down by now. This top has been thrown on hard surfaces, kicked around, launched in the air, and used as everything but what it’s supposed to be by my toddler. It’s a durable toy. My only suggestion for the company would be to include some type of pouch or box to keep all the parts in. The string isn’t attached so when my toddle was playing with it we’d end up have to scour the house for all the parts, especially the string. The good news, in regard to that, is that all the parts are brightly colored so they’re pretty easy to spot.
