Spanx Bra: Bra-llywood Hills Side Slimming Underwire bra review and giveaway

Did you know that Spanx makes bras now? Yes those clever folks who brought you the Spanx shapers and panties. I’m pretty picky about my bras. I want something comfortable, something that will make me look like I have a little more than what I actually have, and I want it to look good under my clothes. In other words I don’t want lumps, bumps and outlines where there shouldn’t be.

I had the opportunity to try the new Spanx Bra-llywood Hills Side Slimming Underwire bra. I chose the nude color. I love that Spanx bras come in a big selection of sizes from 32A to 38DDD. This particular bra is available in nude or black.

They actually have 3 new bras. This one, Bra-liminate Minimizer made for fuller busted women that is made to minimize by 1″ and still be comfortable. Then there is the Bra-llelujah lace under wire contour bra that has lace cups with back smoothing features.

I chose the Bra-llywood Hills Side Slimming Underwire bra because of it’s smooth features. I thought it would look great under a t-shirt or tank. Aside from the side slimming feature it also gives a lift which I appreciate being smaller chested. This bra has quickly become one of my favorite bras. I’ve worn it about 3 times already.

Two Bunnies Crafts pendant review and giveaway

Two Bunnies Crafts Shop is a new on Etsy. The artist, Danielle, makes jewelry, water colour paintings, cards, and stationary. Quite the crafty one.

Right now in her Two Bunnies Crafts Etsy shop she has the cutest little wife nest pendants. Each wire nest pendant can be custom made. You can choose the bead colors and the wire color for your nest. I chose to have one made with copper wire for the next. I requested a bigger pink bead to represent me and 3 small blue beads to represent my 3 boys. I thought it turned out so cute.

Danielle has a number of examples to see on her Etsy shop as well as her facebook fan page for Two Bunnies Crafts.

I have a bad habit with my jewelry. When I put a piece on whether it’s my earrings or my necklaces (not so much with my bracelets and rings). I leave them on all the time. I wear them to sleep and I even shower in them sometimes. I know that’s supposed to be a big no no but I do. I’ve work my pendant for about 5 days in a row now. The chain is my own. The pendant is well made. The beads are definitely not going anywhere. I have a physical job and it’s held up very well. I purposely didn’t point out the necklace to anyone. I wanted to see if people would notice it and what they would say.

One of my coworkers commented on it the first day she worked with me. She said “You necklace is cute. A little bird’s nest.” I told her that I got it from an Etsy shop called Two Bunnies Crafts and it was custom made. I told her what the beads represented to me.

So many meaning for this. I could be great for mother or grandmothers. You could think about putting two big beads in there for a couple or anniversary. Choose your favorite colors and make it your own. Or get one of her cute ready made ones just because…well darn it… they’re cute.

This is another one of my favorites from Two Bunnies Crafts, this one would be cute for anyone. Another nice detail as that each pendant is only $15!

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island app and Giveaway!

I took my boys to see Journey 2: The Mysterious Island not that long ago. It was a great movie for the whole family with something for everyone. The boys couldn’t wait to see the giant bugs and things they showed in the trailer. As for me, well, it certainly added to my interested that Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) is in the movie :-).

I’m always looking for simple ways to help keep myself organized. From keeping track of all the kids’ activities, appointments, and reminders for myself for LuvSavingMoney, it’s easy for me to forget something or mix something up.

I usually keep a note on my desk that reminds me in what order I need to do my blog posts and which ones I still have to do. Unfortunately sometimes it gets lost on my desk then it doesn’t do me much good. While there was so many cute shapes and products of Instant Chalkboard, I finally just decided to get a roll of vinyl so I could cut it to whatever size I wanted it, wherever I wanted it. I have some ugly old paneling on my wall but the Instant Chalkboard still stuck wonderfully. It was super easy to put up. Just peel the back off, place it where you want it, and smooth it out with a credit card. If you don’t like where you put it you can take it off and replace it.

I was quite impressed with how well the chalk works on the vinyl. To wipe it off, just take a damp cloth and wipe it. This worked so well, my kids were fascinated with it too. They asked if I could cut some off the roll to put in their room so I did. Here’s a picture of me smoothing the Instant Chalkboard onto their wall.
