Fair Trade Handmade Gifts from Sitara Collections

When it comes time to give a gift or treat yourself you don’t usually want to buy just anything. There are so many gift options out there but choosing a gift that gives more can never be the wrong choice. Sitara Collections has a beautiful selection of hand crafted gifts that use fair trade practices for the artisans. The majority of their handmade goods come from India but they’ve begun reaching out to artists in South America and France as well. Whatever you choose, you can be sure it’s a quality piece that is not mass produced. I was excited to be able to review a item from SitaraCollections.com. I browsed over the site and had a hard time choosing because there was so many beautiful things I’d love to wear or display in my home. I’m a girl who loves her jewelry so I decided on a pair of earrings. I love a piece of jewelry that i can wear with many outfits. I’m a fan of simple elegant jewelry. I chose these Sterling Silver Rainbow Moonstone Earrings. When I received my order though, I was impressed with absolutely everything. When my earring arrived they came with a gorgeous red jewelry pouch that was quite thick. It was NOT cheaply made. They came with a gift box. One thing I was actually quite thrilled with is that it came with two sets of clear rubber backs. Why was I excited about this? Well they’re hook style earrings and the hook earrings will sometimes slide out of my earrings when brushing my hair back or even just bending over. I thought this was an extra step in helping you protect a great piece of jewelry. I wanted to try to get you a close up of these earrings. I honestly think they are better looking in person than on the website. You can just see the beautiful glow of the moonstone. I put 2 different color backgrounds with it. In the top one you can really see how the blue pulls the blue tones out f the earrings. You can see some of that with the red also. These earrings would go with a number of outfits. I thought these were the perfect size for me. They are solid sterling silver. They have some weight to them for their size. I just love my earrings from Sitara Collections.
