Neocell offers a variety of beauty and fitness products to help you look and feel good. There are many products to choose from in lost of different forms.

I had the opportunity to try a few Neocell products of my choosing.  With so many great sounding products I had a hard time deciding.  I finally chose to try their all new Beauty Burst chews in mint chocolate flavor (also available in superfruit punch), Resveratrol 100 mg, and Neocell refreshing herbal mist.

 

The Neocell refreshing herbal mist comes in a slender spritzer bottle that makes it easy to tuck it away in your purse or backpack.  This spray is for “on-the-go moisture”.  It contains skin balancing herbs, collagen, and vitamins.  I sprayed this on my face and hair as instructed.  It was actually very freshing. It had a cool sensation with an herbal scent to it.  It says the herb combination is for skin balancing.  I detected the scent of rosemary from the very first spritz and sure enough, rosemary is one of the herbal ingredients in this spray.  I imagine this spray will be a real asset in the summer when it’s warm and humid out.  Great way to freshen your skin on the go.

The next product I tried was the Neocell Beauty Bursts.  The newest product available.  There are currently two flavors: Fresh Mint Chocolate and Super Fruit Punch.  I opted for the mint chocolate flavor.  You can chew two of these per serving.  These little bites contain collagen type 1 & 3, Hyaluronic Acid (for skin hydration), and Vitamin C (to help enhance collagen).  I’ll be honest the very first time I tried them they had a good flavor at first but seemed to have a bit of an after taste.  I’ve been eating these now for a little over a week and the flavor has really grown on me.  They’re really quite chewy, like taffy, so the flavor does last a while in your mouth.  The mint seems to power over the chocolate flavor a bit.  These chews are gluten free, soy free, and do not contain any artificial flavors.

 

Resveratrol 100 mg is a dietary supplement that is supposed to help with “cellular rejuvenation and youthful vitality” according to the bottle.  One of the reasons I had chose to try this product is because I had tried a different reveratrol product before and I really liked it. For me personally I did notice some changes.  I felt like my skin was a little more taut on my face.  This particular Resveratrol product from Neocell contains extracts from wine grapes, and grapeseed from the Bordeaux region of France.  They also use muscadine grapes and pomegranate seed extract as well. They come in capsule form and it’s recommended to take 5 capsules per day (150 in the bottle).  The capsules are easy to swallow.

During the time of me trying these supplements I was also doing a challenge to drink more water, which I did.  Of course most people know that drinking more water is good for your body. I think a combination of drinking the water and taking the supplements I noticed again that my skin on my face felt a little more taut. The herbal spray was definitely refreshing and I could feel the effects of that immediately.  The Beauty Bursts were pleasant to chew.

If you’re a fan of scented products, this one is for you.  The first two available are the Fresh Spring Waters and Lavender Blossom that you can find in the Purex Crystals scents.  I was excited to try these being such a big fan of the crystals. I received the Fresh Spring Waters scent to try.

 

As far as appearance, they didn’t look much different than a regular dryer sheet.  In regard to scent though, there was a difference.  I could smell the dryer sheets before I even opened the box.  I placed the dryer sheet in the dryer, started the dryer, and went on about my day.  The scent followed me though and I realized that my hand smelled of the dryer sheet.  It was a very strong scent.  I had to wash my hands because it was starting to get to me.  When I pulled my clothes out of the dryer I could smell the Fresh Spring Water scent as soon as I opened the dryer door.  Once folded and put in baskets though, the scent tamed a bit and was actually quite pleasant.

The scent from these dryer sheets is supposed to last for 30 days.  The dryer sheets help to reduce static cling and repel pet hair and lint.  I would not use these in a household with someone who has sensitive skin or is sensitive to scents.  I would not be able to use these for my 1 yr old daughter or my 4 yr old son.

Have you ever worn a pair of socks and they just weren’t comfortable? What I like about these is that the material felt soft on my feet.  They worked well with my tennis shoes and other shoes and didn’t add bulk to make it feel like my shoes were tighter.  There is a seam at the toes but it was minimal and I hardly noticed it when I wore the socks.  I would think that would be pretty important for someone with diabetes that has to take extra care to prevent ulcers.

Sorting clothes can be time consuming especially if you have a few people living in your home.  We’re a family of 6, my hubby has uniforms, I have uniforms, the kids have sports uniforms, then there’s our every day clothes.  Our laundry really adds up.  If I were to sort all of it It would probably add an extra hour to my laundry time each laundry day.  Purex has a solution for that.

Purex introduces their newest laundry detergent, Purex No Sort for colors.  Just a note from Purex, it’s innovative but not a miracle worker.  They still recommend you wash strongly colored fabrics separately at least 5 times before mixing with other colors.  I think that’s a valid point.  I know some of new sweatshirts and things of that nature can really bleed sometimes.  The new anti-color transfer technology traps loose dyes in the wash and doesn’t let them settle on your laundry.  This detergent is meant to reduce color bleed accidents.

 

I love the brightly colored bottle . It has a nice fresh scent to it.  It really doesn’t look any different from other detergent.  I was interested to see how well it was going to work on some of the grime that goes into our washer.  I had also purposely picked out a multitude of colors to combine in my washer to see how well that worked too.

Reds, browns, blacks, green, whatever, it all went in there.  I even put these bad boys in there

Yea that’s my oldest son’s baseball pants.  A combination of mud, red sand, and grass on there.  He says “We did sliding drills today” hmm you don’t say.  If that’s not a test, I don’t know what is.  I threw them right in there with the rest of the colors even though these are a light gray color.
