I have no idea why but my lips get dry flaky skin, especially in the winter time but if I’m being honest, it’s really all the time. It drives me crazy. I try lip balms, lotions, lipstick, whatever it takes to quench my lips. Most of them are just temporary fixes. I’ve been married for soon to be 6 years and I’ve been with my husband for almost 9 years as a couple. My husband kisses me all the time but I get self conscious sometimes when my lips are so dry.
Brilliant Love Heart Lip Care 3 Step System is a unique lip care system that I had the opportunity to try.
I’ve used lip care systems before but never a 3 step one. I really didn’t know what to expect or how it might be better. Step 1 of the system is a dead skin cell remover with “low irritation” as per the manufacturer description. It’s kind of like a lip mask/exfoliant. You rub it on over your lips for 1-2 min then take it off with warm water. It is white and feels kind of funny on your lips.
After you remove step 1 you move onto step 2. This part was the weirdest yet most relaxing part of the process in my opinion. Step is a lip gel patch that contains a moisturizer. It kind of reminds me of a thin jello jiggler cut out. It’s actually shaped in the design of a pair of lips. It’s much bigger than my lips and kind of sticks to your face. It felt totally weird at first and looked even weirder.
You’re supposed to leave this on for 15-20 minutes. After the initial weirdness of it it actually started to feel really nice on my lips. It had a pleasant light melon type scent. You can’t really talk with this on and I was trying to avoid my kids or husband seeing me because I know they’d be trying to ask me questions about it and I’d have to take it off to answer them. Also if you’re standing up it does slide a little bit. It worked better if I laid down. The scent was quite relaxing it it felt luxurious on my lips. After removing this part was the last step. Step 3 is a lip tint with essence, high moisture and supposed to leave your lips energized.
The end result for me was that it made my lips feel fantastic . The hadn’t felt that soft in a long time. The process is a little strange but it works and it does feel nice.
