I can’t wait to try Vaseline Intensive Rescue. I’m one of those 77% that say that their dry skin makes them uncomfortable. My skin gets itchy, rough, and at times almost scaly on my legs. My hands crack too. (I know, lovely mental picture right?) The dry heat in the house doesn’t help my cause. I’ve have a limited selection of products that actually work for my skin so I’m eager to try this.

Guys get over yourselves

So I know someone who has tried/is using Plentyoffish.com NOT me I’m happily married and thank God I don’t have to mess with that crap. But, I had heard this person talk about it, she had met a few guys from the site that turned out to be…well…less than what was expected to put it nicely. I don’t mean looks wise because us ladies tend to take in the whole picture when we’re in our right mind.

Anywho, after hearing her talk about this site I decided I’m going to go window shop and see what kind of fish she’s dealing with. I did not join the site so I was not able to see much info. Small pics with a brief excerpt on these guys. That was enough for most of them. I told her “Damn, I went down this list and I’m doing a mental check off list: wife beater, jerk, cocky a-hole, yikes, yikes, um ok maybe, that dude looks like Lurch from the Addams family, cocky a-hole..” well you get the point.

I know online dating has become pretty popular. In fact, I know of a few people that have had successful relationships from meeting online or through the paper. I’m not putting this down, nor am I putting down people who use the site and are being serious about it. What I am talking about is this for example, oh and also I feel it a valid point to note these guys are supposed to be 28-38 yrs old:

This one guy who shall remain nameless is looks like an early 1990s version of Vanilla Ice. The excerpt I read from his profile says something to the effect of: ” girls I don’t want someone who has extra lbs on them if you are overweight don’t bother contacting me because it won’t happen” Unfortunately, my spelling and grammar was actually better than what he had typed out. So ladies, here’s a tip, avoid the a-hole.

Then contestant #2: screen name Alphamale——- with some numbers etc afterward. Saying he wants to meet a nice girl but he only wants someone good looking. Again…cocky a-hole who’s only into himself. Again ladies no…you don’t need that you deserve better. I don’t care who you are.

Then what’s behind door number 3 (reminder this is the 28-38 yrs old search) a picture of a guy with is mouth hanging open, looks like he’s yelling(screaming) hair all sticking up in the air, looks visibly intoxicated in the picture…serious relationship…grow up first k?

The guy who says “I’m not picky, I would date any woman” awesome…so you don’t really know what you want and your 37 years old. And by the way, that really doesn’t make a woman feel special.

Last but not least: Shirtless dudes with their hair covering their face. So you can show off your pecks and happy trail but you’re too shy to show a girl your nose? Oy.

I know that there are decent guys out there just looking for a chance (or a 2nd chance even). I’m not putting you down. I’m very happy I found my hubby. I wouldn’t deprive anyone else the chance of being happy in that way. Just please ladies, be careful and guys think before you type.

I love to DuWop my makeup

I love to do up (DuWop) my makeup get it…oh ok sorry. So I’m no good a making up a play on words so let’s get down to what I’m trying to tell you. This may sounds silly but when I choose my makeup brands I tend to do it by mood. I love a brand that seems to have my attitude and have a kind of edgy feel to them. I also love anything that glitters. Hey, I’m a girl.

DuWop Cosmetics has a number of products that make me want to explore the brand a little more. DuWop cosmetics has a product called “Lip Venom” which makes me think, Lip Venom huh? Ok how is this going to give me the look I want? Lip Venom is a lip plumper that uses essential oils along with nourishing oils that gloss. Ok sounds good to me. There are several versions of the Lip Venom too. The original as well as Twilight Venom which gives your lips a blood red bitten look, Lip Venom pink shimmer, and Lip Venom 2nd sin. Nothing sexier then plump glossy lips right?

Now for the glitter part, that’s easy. I love the Crushed Heavy Metal Metallic Eye Shadow. Three glittery metallic shades. What I love about these colors, they are great alone or to enhance one of your favorite eye colors. I love to take a smoky eyeshadow and add some metallic eyeshadow over top or to the crease of my eye lid. I think it really gives my eyes dark shimmery look.

This products has a very smooth and flavorful Vanilla taste. The bottle makes it so easy to quickly add a hint of Vanilla and sweetness to your favorite drinks and foods. I LOVE it in my coffee. I normally take milk and a teaspoon of sugar in my coffee. I used 14 drops of the NuNaturals Pure Liquid Vanilla Stevia. I didn’t need any sugar plus it gave my coffee a very pleasing vanilla flavor.

NuStevia Pure White Stevia Packets was another product I had the opportunity to try. These convenient packets are great to keep on your desk at work or two tuck a few into your purse when you go to a restaurant or a friend’s house. I’m not typically a huge fan of sugar alternatives (I know it’s healthier but the after taste usually is not for me), but this didn’t seem to have that odd after-taste that other sweeteners have. I had given some to a co-worker who is Diabetic. I wanted to get the opinion of someone who normally does use artificial sweeteners to compare. She told me what she noticed was that the sweetness doesn’t seem to hit you right away, that she would taste the sweetness as it hit the back of her throat.
