I’m a fan of daily deal sites. I don’t always find something I want and when I do sometimes I’m just dead broke even though it’s a great deal. Today was my luck day though.
A couple weeks ago DealPulp.com had a deal to get a $10 Deal Pulp credit for $1. I def jumped on that one. Then I had my $5 sign up credit. I had $15 in credits then in my account. I’ve been saving it for a rainy day. I’m in need of some new clothes to update my wardrobe. I hardly ever buy myself stuff. Today’s deal is $20 for a $50 Emoda.com certificate.
Emoda.com is having a big sale right now with everything up to 95% off. Seriously. I looked over the site to make sure I would be able to buy something with my certificate only (aside from any shipping that may occur.) Lots of stuff, in fact most the items are in that price range. They have a True Religion fragance set for $47.40, Genetic Denim jeans for $41.80 (these jeans usually go for around $100 a pair), they have a really cute C and C California burgundy dress I’m eying up for only $38.10. There is a LOT more deals so it would be worth it to grab this deal.
There are guys deals on there too for any of my male readers out there.
Update:*** yes there is still a $5 credit for sign up so you could be getting yourself a pair of designer jeans (or whatever you choose) for like $15 with your credit.***

I’ve had a number of people tell me they didn’t know how to find their tweet links when entering giveaways. I’m sure I’m sure I’m not the only blogger who has fielded this question either. I think I actually posted this a while back but thought it might be worth a repost.
When you tweet something it shows up in your twitter timeline something like this:
This is a copy and paste of one of my actual tweets. Every tweet you tweet has a “timestamp” In my example tweet about it would be the bolded “7 hours ago”. Click on your timestamp. It will pull up that individual tweet alone. Copy and paste the URL of the tweet into a comment when entering a giveaway that asks for a link to your tweet.

I made this link clickable so you can actually see how it will pull up when you click the time stamp and you can locate the URL (it’s in your web brower bar where you type in your web addresses).
When you first tweet, especially in new twitter, it seems to take a couple seconds before the time stamp shows up.
You can also use these directions to get links to an individual Facebook status as well.
This is a copy and paste of one of my FB status updates. If I were going to get the link, I would click on “Yesterday at 3:32 pm” and again grab the url in the page that comes up with your individual fb status on it.

The first time I looked through a Thirty-One product catalog, I thought the products were cute, fashionable, and the idea of Thirty-One was unique.

I had a really hard time choosing which fabric pattern and embroidery color I wanted. I finally decided on the fabric pattern “St. Andrews Garden” with a brown A embroidered on it. It didn’t take long for me to receive my tote. Tara actually let me know when it shipped before I even got my shipping confirmation. I was able to track it to find out when I would receive my order.
The Thirty-One Thermal Tote is actually a generous size. It’s bigger than most of the lunch bags I’ve had in the past. I’m thinking this thermal tote will be great for trips to the park during the spring and summer. It will easily fit a few sandwiches and juice boxes for the kids and myself. It would also easily accommodate a container with your salad, water bottle, and container of dressing for lunch at work. Pack two meals in it for a day on the lake. I took mine grocery shopping today and used it to put a couple of the smaller frozen items in. For only $14 I think this is a great deal for such a well-made versatile products. Thirty-One also offers a Small Thermal Tote if you prefer. I stuffed a few groceries into my bag and took a pic so you could get a better idea of the amount this could hold. I didn’t stuff it to the brim. So it could even be used as a reusable shopping bag if your just getting a few small things at the store.

My desk is filled with press releases, coupons, business cards, and some of my own personal filings. I look at my sad desk and think, “well old friend you’ve served me well but how long can you make it?”
My desk serves it’s purpose that’s for sure. It’s actually a hand-me-down from when my husband got himself a huge corner desk. So it’s missing a knob on the one drawer, that’s ok. There’s an awesome drawer in the bottom to put hanging files to organize. That’s great…except that it’s obviously missing a piece somewhere. I’ve bought several sizes of hanging files and have yet to find one that fits the metal bars. I think perhaps it’s missing a bar.
Then there’s the stains on the desk and deep nicks in the faux wood. I never did like light colors in a house with three boys.
So as I was contacted by CSNstores.com to do a review, I find myself wishing and visualizing a new, functional desk for myself. Hey a girl can dream right? CSNstores.com has a vast selection of home office desks.
While I’m dreaming I see this and think: “OMG isn’t that gorgeous. How organized could I be with that!”
Nice right? Though if I”m going to be a little more realistic this one would certainly be a step up:
