Bright Beginnings infant formula easier on the wallet

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of PBM Products for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I started with nursing all my boys.  I nursed them for several months.  I always ended up having to switch to formula after starting back to work.  My job is so busy and the pumping area was not convenient.  I ended up producing less and less milk and being uncomfortable at work.

Choosing a formula was a big decision.  I wanted it to be right for my baby but I also had to be able to afford it.  I compared labels to the “expensive” brands and store brands and found that the labels were almost identical.  I wish I would have known about Bright Beginnings formula at that time.

Bright Beginnings is being sold on diapers.com; for more info or to purchase you can visit:buy on diapers.com

There are a few varieties: soy, gentle, premium, and milk-based.  Their prices are comparable to what I was paying for the store brand.  You can buy them in individual cans or packs of 6 for convenience.  Also diapers.com has a coupon code for 10% your first purchase on their site. Code: GET10PCT

I know that choosing a formula and the variety for your baby is a personal choice.  If you’re not sure, it’s always a good idea to talk to you pediatrician.

Toddler’s Creed — just to make you smile

I have a 20 month old who wants everything his brothers have. Even if they decide to give it to him he wants the next thing they have. I remembered reading a Toddler’s creed somewhere. I’ve seen it posted in daycares, pediatricians offices, and several other places. My sister’s daughter is only 2 weeks older than my youngest and I was telling her about the toddler’s creed.  I found a few versions and thought I’d share them with you.  The first one is my favorite:

If I want it,  It’s Mine

If I give it to you and change my mind later, It’s Mine

If I can take it away from you, It’s Mine

If it’s mine it will never belong to anybody else, No Matter what

If we are building something together, All the pieces are mine

If it looks just like mine, It’s mine

If it breaks or needs putting away,

IT’S YOURS!

I found another one though labeled as the toddler’s creed.  I hadn’t heard this one but it still works:

If it is on, I must turn it off.

If it is off, I must turn it on.

If it is folded, I must unfold it.

If it is a liquid, it must be shaken, then spilled.

If it a solid, it must be crumbled, chewed or smeared.

If it is high, it must be reached.

If it is shelved, it must be unshelved.

If it is pointed, it must be run with at top speed.

If it has leaves, they must be picked.

If it is plugged, it must be unplugged.

If it is not trash, it must be thrown away.

If it is in the trash, it must be removed, inspected, and thrown on the floor.

If it is closed, it must be opened.

If it does not open, it must be screamed at.

If it has drawers, they must be rifled.

If it is a pencil, it must write on the refrigerator, monitor, or table.

If it is full, it will be more interesting emptied.

If it is empty, it will be more interesting full.

If it is a pile of dirt, it must be laid upon.

If it is stroller, it must under no circumstances be ridden in without protest.

It must be pushed by me instead.

If it has a flat surface, it must be banged upon.

If Mommy’s hands are full, I must be carried.

If Mommy is in a hurry and wants to carry me, I must walk alone.

If it is paper, it must be torn.

If it has buttons, they must be pressed.

If the volume is low, it must go high.

If it is toilet paper, it must be unrolled on the floor.

If it is a drawer, it must be pulled upon.

If it is a toothbrush, it must be inserted into my mouth.

If it has a faucet, it must be turned on at full force.

If it is a phone, I must talk to it.

If it is a bug, it must be swallowed.

If it doesn’t stay on my spoon, it must be dropped on the floor.

If it is not food, it must be tasted.

If it IS food, it must not be tasted.

If it is dry, it must be made wet with drool, milk, or toilet water.

If it is a carseat, it must be protested with arched back.

If it is Mommy, it must be hugged.

I am toddler!

Prime example, whatever brothers are eating he feels he should be eating too.

Doing random searches helps me find cool things

Maybe something will pop in my head and I’ll think “Oh I should see what that’s all about”. Sometimes I’ll hear about a company or product and want to know more about it. It might be a song that won’t get out of my head. Whatever it is, I find myself doing searches. Sometimes I’m just plain bored.

Once in a while my searches lead me to something of interest.  I saw that Swanson Vitamins is doing a giveaway for bloggers.  Yup, just for bloggers.  Post this banner in a post:
