I’ve been trying to take care of my skins for years now. Always reading things from experts. While there are lots of different theories and ideas about how to look younger, how to take care of your skin, etc there’s usually two things that are consistent: moisturize and use a sunscreen all year.
I’ll admit it took me a long time to jump on the sunscreen wagon . I always wanted that summer glow and thought “why do you need sunscreen in the winter” but I’ve learned through the years. Most of my cosmetics and moisturizers have spf in them. I’ve used moisturizers for a long time though. I tend to get dry skin in the winter. My make-up seems to apply better when I use a moisturizer before hand too. I’m pretty picky about my moisturizers though. If it’s thin and runny I pretty much know it’s not going to work for my skin that dries up as soon as August is done.
Anavita Moisturizing Anti-Wrinkle Cream says you will have more beautiful smoother skin in 2-4 weeks and continuing improvement for 12 weeks. It also states it’s good for all skin types. Well…I accepted that challenge.
My skin on my face is combination. I get quite oily in my T-zone and dry everywhere else. I break out (still even in my 30’s) along my T-zone more often than I think I should at my age. I have this crazy skin that I don’t know if I should be using acne products, aging products, or some kind of combo. I feel thicker moisturizers seem to do better for my skin. Anavita Moisturizing antiwrinkle cream is quite thick. I really have to push my finger into the cream to get it out. It comes in a really nice metal container with a twist off cap.
When I first apply it, it’s almost immediate relief for my dry skin. It doesn’t take a lot to cover the area needed. It definitely made my skin look hydrated. I’ve been using it for about two weeks now. In all honesty, I have not seen any real improvement in the fine lines on my face. My biggest problem is the frown lines between my eye brows but there are also lines by my eyes and mouth. Still, I know that continuing to use a moisturizer and sunscreen will continue to help for the future. This is a good moisturizer, but I can’t say in the two weeks I’ve been using it that I’ve seen any improvement in my wrinkles.
There is a fragrance to it too that is not really for me. It almost has a perfume like fragrance to it.
I will continue to use it because it is a great moisturizer and will hopefully start showing some improvement in my signs of aging. This product sells currently, for $29.95 for a 1.7 fl oz jar on Amazon:

Besides them and some fine lines on my forehead I don’t really have any wrinkles…..yet. But those frown lines between my eye brows drive me insane….. I have combination skin… I have a slight bit of oiliness in the t zone mostly during warmer weather…. but otherwise it is very dry…. I’d love to try this cream. It sounds wonderful and with the winter coming up soon, my skin gets very dry……
