Each Almondina cookie is packed with roasted almonds. I wanted to take a picture of one of the cookies to show you that it’s not an almond here or there but whole almond slivers you can see.
This particular one is the original flavor with raisins and almonds. Almondina is different than biscotti because you don’t need to dip it to enjoy it. It’s definitely good with a glass of milk or a cup or tea or coffee but I’ve been snacking on these at different times of the day on their own too. I received a variety of flavors. They were all so tasty. I’m partial to chocolate so the Choconut and Chocolate Cherry were definitely a treat but I also tried the Original, Cinnaroma, Gingerspice, and Sesame as well. Each one with their own unique taste but all yummy.
There are so many ways to enjoy them. You can spread cream cheese on them, with yogurt, crumbled over ice cream, just about anything you can think of.
You can read a bit about how the Almondina cookie came about from a grandmother’s secret recipe .
You can find Almondina on facebook and on twitter @Almondina
Almondina cookies can be found nationwide at Publix, Giant Eagle, Walmart, Whole Foods and many more stores. For a complete list check out the Almondina store finder.
