Aerobie makes quality toys that are made right here in the USA.  If you recall the fun my family and I had with the Aerobie Sprint flying ring, the Aerobie Skylighter flying disc lives up to the Aerobie line.

The Aerobie Skylighter lighted flying disc is an exciting outdoor to keep your kids active outside even when the days are shorter.  The Aerobie Skylighter is meant to be played with day or night.  During the day you can see the bright and colorful patented rim.  The rim also ensures a soft catch, no hurting your hands if your partner whips it at you or it’s a little chilly out.  It has a cool holographic design in the center of the 12 inch diameter disc.

How does all this help at night?  Well there’s a small switch in the middle of the disk that lights your Skylighter up bright with LED lights with the help of the translucent center.  I tried to catch my boys playing with it in the dark without the flash.  The whole family started throwing it around.  The neighbors across the alley gathered in their driveway and were watching us throw it around.  We asked them to join us but they were enjoying watching us.

Do you see the small green glow in the middle?  That’s it.  My boys said it kind of looked like a UFO.  All of us went in the back yard as a family and threw the disc around for a while.  It’s a very sturdy disc.  Easy to handle too.  The battery is long lasting and replaceable.
