What memories do you have of summer as a kid? Maybe playing at the playground, riding your bike, maybe throwing a frisbee at the park. I used to love to go down to the field by the playground with my friends and see how far I could throw a frisbee or flying disc. I remember the pad of my thumb getting sore from from throwing those plastic discs so much.
As my kids got older they of course had flying discs. We’d form a triangle or square in the yard, depending on how many were playing along, and throw to each other. Flying disc have sure gotten better now. We have several Aerobie® products. One of the discs we just got is the Aerobie® Superdisc™
My favorite feature of the Aerobie Superdisc is the cushioned edge. It makes it really easy to grip and I don’t get the sore thumb pad that I mentioned earlier. It’s even easy for my 2 year old to throw. If you have a pool, it even floats in the water. Would be great to take to the local pool or beach too.
Another point, because it has the softer edges, it doesn’t really hurt like if someone whipped one of those plastic ones as you. My 2 year old ran into the path a few times but it didn’t even phase her. Also, it’s made right here in the US!
