I started getting into the use of essential oils recently. When I say recently I say, around the end of last year I started to seriously research uses, ways to use the oils, etc. I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination but I’ve learned some ways to use essential oils to help with things like: non-toxic cleaning products, health, relaxation, and more.
In my reading I often saw the use of essential oil diffusers pop up in the text. The idea intrigued me since I knew certain essential oils could be diffused to help with sinuses, stress, and other things. I really wanted one but many seemed to be pretty expensive. I didn’t want to spend that much money on something that may or may not be what I was looking for.

When I received my diffuser there were several pieces in the box. The diffuser itself, the plug, a bottle of Lavender essential oil, and of course the instructions. Initially I was not impressed with the instructions. They were written in broken english so it was a little hard to understand. The device itself is pretty easy to use though so I figured it out with minimal help from the directions. The lamp shade twists off. There is a well in the middle that you fill with water and add a few drops of your essential oil of choice. Twist the lamp shade back on, plug in the wire. On the back are two different buttons. You have to hold in the timer button for a second or two to get it to turn on. Another thing I liked about the is the timer had a setting for 30, 60, 90, or 180 minutes. You can use it with or without the LED lights on. Each of the 4 colors of the lamp had a bright and dim setting. I particularly liked the white light and blue light on the dim setting along with the lavender essential oil.
We put this in our bedroom and now use it every night. As a matter of fact my husband went up to watch tv in our bedroom this afternoon. When I walked into the room he had the diffuser going. You can see there is a mist trail that floats out of the opening at the top of the Essential Oil Diffuser
. We both really like the lavender oil in our bedroom to help us unwind from our busy days. The lavender oil that comes with the diffuser has a nice scent . It seems to be the same scent strength and potency as 2 other brands of lavender essential oil I own.

I’ve heard of all the great benefits of essential oils but I’ve never actually used them. This would be a great way to start. I think it would be great for the office too.
