I have goals for 2019. Not a resolution but things I’ve been putting off for one reason or other. I know I talked about it in my other New Year’s giveaway post but what better way to stay focused on the goals than to remind yourself and check things off the list.

I officially sent in the paperwork to make this little blog an LLC. I also hired a professional to create a logo for me to give the old blog a new look for 2019.

Besides this blog, I also work outside of my home as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) at a hospital. One personal career goal I’ve had for myself for a couple years is to become a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. So first step to that goal will be getting the manual to start studying to take the certification test. I’ve held back on it for financial reasons mostly. I usually feel guilty spending money on myself with having 4 kids. But I have to remind myself that my patients will benefits, it will enhance my marketability, and make me feel like I’m not stagnant in my job.

I saw this quote and loved it. I thought it perfectly captures what I’m trying to do.

  1. One of my goals is to master the Instant Pot so that i can use it at least once a week.

  2. My goal is to get healthier. Which includes eating more veggies, losing weight and exercising more.

    One is to get a complete physical with blood work.
    And, two is to finish our complete home remodel. NO hurricanes before .. hopefully.

  16. I would like to be nicer to others even though I may be addressed with lots of negativity – never know what may be going on in the lives of others. So, I will “be there” for them. I will also hope to exercise more regularly and learn to relax and enjoy reading, once again!

  21. I make the same resolution every year to not make resolutions and thus far I have had no issues sticking to the program 🙂 ((I love that you have a Savannah cat! They are so beautiful, my dream pet! ))

  22. One of my goals is to declutter my house. I tend to keep stuff around thinking I will use it someday and I never do.
