First of all, I wanted to say that this post is not sponsored in any way. I’m definitely a fan of companies that do the right thing or at least treat people the way they should be treated. There’s news today about a Cease and Desist letter from a Jack Daniel’s attorney that has gone viral . Why? Because it was extremely polite and they even offered to pay for the changes. I think it’s great to see a company setting an example. While they are exercising their business rights they did it in a polite manner. I also think it’s great that the author is going to comply but without accepting the money. I think this could be an example for many businesses. As the old saying goes “You catch more flies with honey.” I know I’d be more willing to comply if I was asked respectfully.
What are your thoughts? I say, “Way to Go Jack Daniels!”
