Norah Jones’ new album was recorded from 2001 to 2010. Each song is a duet or collaboration from artists from many music genres.

One of my favorite songs on the album is “Bull Rider”  with Norah Jones and Sasha Dobson.  You know the song:  ” Live fast, die young, bull rider..”  I think it was originally done by Johnny Cash.

Another one I like on the album is “Creepin’ In” with Norah Jones featuring Dolly Parton. 

I have to admit.  I wasn’t sure what I would think about the album when i received it.  I popped it into my cd player in my car and there it’s been every since. I haven’t wanted to take it out.  Every time I get into the car it’s playing.  It’s a nice mellow cd.  Great to unwind from a day of work.  There are also collabos and duet with: Willie Nelson, Outkast, Foo Fighters, Ray Charles and lots more.

There is a mix of many different sounds. You get a taste of blues, country, hip hop, pop, and classics.

If you’re looking for a good stocking stuffer, this would be a good choice.  It appeals to a span of generations.

Norah Jones’ smooth voice is a great mesh with this award winning line up.

I nursed all 3 of my boys for as long as I could.  I knew it was the best, healthiest choice.  If I could do it, why, I was going to do it.  One issue I found difficult though was finding a discreet way to do it.  Most of the male members in my family…my dad, uncle, etc were somewhat uncomfortable with me nursing in front of them. 
I tried using blankets over my shoulder and covering the baby but I always worried if it was uncomfortable for the baby.  The blankets would usually slide off too. 

Then I bought one of those nursing covers that have the strap that goes around your neck.  While this worked better in that it stayed put and covered more I still worried about it covering the baby’s head.  I discovered Baby Bond Nursing Sash and Belly Band.  This eliminates that worry of covering the baby’s head.  It can be worn as a sash and you simply pull apart the bands to give baby access to the nipple or you can use it has a belly band to nurse with your non-nursing wear type tops (IE a regular shirt or high collar shirt).

I put it on myself so you could see the different ways to wear it.  Here it is as a sash.  I pulled it apart a little at the top so you could see how the baby would nurse.  I have my shirt underneath so no nipple shots lol.

Then I used it as the belly band.  You would use the belly band choice if you had a top on like mine in the pic above.  If you need to lift your shirt but wanted to keep your belly and back covered to anyone else that may be near by.

It’s a very light weight fabric.  There are a few different colors to choose from as well.

I love Shutterfly.com. I use them to order prints from my digital pictures. When my husband and I got married we did a very small wedding with only immediate family. Everyone took pictures. I was able to collect the pictures and make our own personal wedding album. I think it turned out great!

One thing I have not done however, is try their Christmas cards.  I don’t really know why to tell you the truth.  I haven’t sent out holiday cards for a couple years.  I hand delivered some.  I was thinking I really need to get back into it.  I’ve received the cute holiday cards from friends and family with updated pictures of them.  I often thought about getting them but just never have.  Well, not this year.  Darn it, I’m gonna do it!

I started looking over Shutterfly’s card selection and wow, do they have a selection!  I’m having a lot of difficulty deciding.  Shutterfly has a lot of photo Christmas cards.  They even have Christmas gift tags to dress up that holiday package.

Hmm, I’m thinking about some of these designs:

I like this design because I have 3 boys.  I could put a pic of each one in the photo spots.  I also think it’s a cute design for the holidays. 

BUT, I also like this one:

I’d put a pic of the whole family in.  I love the design, classy and simple.

There are so many more choices.  I don’t know how I’ll ever decide.  I’d love to hear your opinions.  Which ones do you like?  Which ones do you think would work well with a family of 5 or for the 3 boys?
