I don’t know about you but I’m kind of excited to see some of the timeless fairy tales made into movies. I wondered how they would make Jack and the Beanstalk into a interesting movie, then I watched the trailer for Jack the Giant Slayer and thought it looked really good.  It seems to be a nice mix of adventure and humor all while being a family friendly movie.  I know my boys would love to see this movie.  We don’t get to the movies much though so we usually get the movies on-demand or on dvd.  Now Jack the Giant Slayer is available in a combo pack: (DVD+Bluray+Ultraviolet)

Here is a brief Synopsis of the movie:
Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing Jack (Nicholas Hoult), into the battle of this life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom and its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend… and gets the chance to become a legend himself! Directed by Brian Singer (X-Men, Superman Returns)

Starring: Nicholas Hoult (About a Boy), Ewan McGregor (Star Wars, Moulin Rouge!), and Stanley Tucci (The Lovely Bones).
