My youngest son is 3 years old.  He still has no interest in potty training what so ever.  I’ve tried different things and I have my husband on board.  My 3 year old just doesn’t seem to mind if  he goes in his diaper.   We’re still working on it, but until then, he still  needs diapers.   Let’s face it with child #3 who’s still in diapers at 3 years old, you really don’t wanna pay a lot of the big name diapers.  But, you also want a diaper that’s going to hold up to a 3 year old’s…um…surprises.

I’ve tried all different kinds store brands, name brands, movers, shakers, whatever.  What I’ve found is the majority will do the job.  There’s only a few that I wouldn’t recommend.  Even those that I didn’t like with my older two children when they were little have gotten better over time.

Dollar General has redesigned their diapers.  They’re introducing the new DG Baby Premium Diapers.  So what makes them better?
–High Stretch Side Panels make the newly redesigned diapers soft and a flexible fit so they move with your baby
–Ultra Absorbent so they keep wetness away from the skin but are soft, thin and flexible for a less bulky fit
–Soft Inner liner is hypoallergenic and contains Vitamin E and Aloe to protect your little ones skin
–The size is printed on every diaper
–Cottony Soft Outer Cover means more comfort for your baby
–soft and stretchy leak guards

I was interested to put the new DG Baby Premium Diapers to the test with my 3 year old.  He uses a size 4 diaper.  I was impressed with how well the fit and stayed fastened. They were much better quality than I used to think of Dollar General diapers.

Here he is hamming it up in his new diaper.  I just changed him in this picture.  We’re still working on the potty thing but until he gets the hang of it, I’m liking these diapers and will definitely consider using them until he’s fully potty trained.  Dollar General also offers pull ups and overnight diapers too.  These really could hold a lot and my son seemed comfortable in them.
