Years ago, I wanted a black leather jacket really bad. I finally had the money one day and decided this is it. I’m going to buy my jacket, and I did. I had never owned a leather jacket before but they stressed to me the importance of caring for the leather. Cleaning it, using a conditioner, and a water repellent were things they talked to me about. Of course, these rules don’t just apply to leather jackets but, all leather. Leather purses, shoes, belts, whatever.
Guess what? I still have that leather jacket. It’s probably about 11 years old now. I chose one that had a more classic design. I don’t wear it as much as I used to but I still do on occasion. I decided Tantex Multi-Purpose Leather Conditioner would be great to try on my jacket.
Tantex Leather Conditioner, the Best Leather Conditioner 8oz
penetrates leather for long lasting shine, suppleness, and strength. It’s has a super fine emulsion that allows the leather fibers to absorb and retain the conditioner. It does not leave a greasy residue. Tantex uses an organic solution. It’s water base, not chemical based so it’s non-toxic, odorless, non-flammable, and safe for sensitive skin. It was easy for me to use. Simply clean your leather with a leather cleaner then apply Tantex with a soft dry cloth. Wait a few minutes then wipe the excess. Buff with a soft, dry cloth. That’s it.

You can see that it’s a bit dull. To be quite honest I hadn’t cleaned it in a while. Then I cleaned it and applied the Tantex Leather Conditioner.
