Purex Complete with Zout is a detergent and pre-treater all in one. It works to get stains out the first time.  Purex Complete with Zout is safe for use in both traditional top load washers and High Efficiency (HE) washers.

1.  Protease:  this one helps withe the protein based stains like grass and blood.

Now for the real test.  With 3 small boys at my house, there is no lack of stains to test this out on.  My hubs and I have all white sheets and comforter on our bed.  Our toddler will wake up in the middle of the night some times.  He usually goes right back to sleep if I give him a drink in his sippy cup and lay him beside me for a little bit.  Well, one time I decided to give him purple grape juice.  I know, what was I thinking right?  Well here is the stain that occured:

It was not only on this part but the padded fitted sheet as well as our even bigger comforter.  The Purex Complete with Zout bottle tells you to use it like a regular detergent.  However, for tougher stains (Such as my purple grape juice that sat all night on the white blankets) it tells you to add some detergent directly to the stain, rub in, and let set for about 5 min.  before washing.  So I did and was relieved to see that the stain really did come out.  ALL of it, not just some of it.

So yay for Purex Complete with Zout.  I used it in conjunction with my Purex Complete Crystals that I always have on hand now.  My bedding smells fantastic and is stain free.
