We’re always on the look out for healthy snacks and drinks in this family . I’m trying to teach my kids good and bad choices when making snack and meal decisions.  As a mom I sometimes pick my battles though.  I try to make healthier choices too as an example and for my own well being.

One thing that my kids do like is fruit.  When I heard about Chiquita Frozen Fruit Smoothies I was interested in trying them.  Healthy, inexpensive, the kids will like it, I will like, easy to make…..why not?!

Each 8 oz smoothie contains 100% Vitamin C and provides a 1/2 cup of fruit.  All you need to add is is a half a can of water and 2 cans of ice (the can the Chiquita Frozen Fruit Smoothie comes in).  Then blend.  That’s it! There are 3,  8 oz servings (once blended) per can.

Chiquita Frozen Fruit Smoothies come in 4 great flavors too: Strawberry Banana, Mixed Berry, Peach Mango, and Banana Colada.

My boys and I tried the Strawberry Banana and the Mixed Berry.  It was so easy to make.  The kids loved it. I thought it tasted pretty good myself. I’m thinking this would be great for a small party or family gathering.  Maybe even a healthy football treat?? I can try right?
